After an exhausting day, we bucked up and decided to head into the town again for our Thanksgiving meal, leaving behind our fellow Americans opting for turkey dinner at the Sheraton. The same driver, Walter, came to pick us up after we grabbed a cocktail at the bar with a couple from San Fran. We also met a family at the hotel from Washington, DC. They’re living in Buenoes Aires for the next year.

Thanks to Walter, we realized that the restaurant we had a reservation at, Bocamora, was situated at Las Tres Fronteras, the three borders. The restaurant is the northern most restaurant in Argentina, and is located on the border shared with Brazil and Paraguay.

The restaurant was a delicious find, and the setting was completely incomparable to any others in town. We finally got around to trying some Argentine sweet bread. We decided to eat it, then look it up, which ended up being the best route as I’m not so sure I’d eat it now that I know what it is although it was quite tasty.

Bec kept her streak going and had another filet of beef with sweet potato torte and Matt went for the chorizo. Both very good, although Matt sent his back because it was too cooked.
