Apparently feeling brave the next morning (and not the least bit hungover), we decided to go on La Gran Aventura, the great adventure. In our tour group we had people from San Fran, Israel, Turkey, Mexico, Sweden and France.

First we took a safari through the jungle where we learned about the different species of plants and animals in the area. The park is home to thousands of animals, including pumas and jaguars and lots of snakes and spiders. Matt began to regret demanding the best seat on the truck for photos since that basically put him at risk to be eaten first.

After our safari, we were dropped off at the river where boarded boats to cruise up the river and into the falls.

Cameras were put away at this point and we headed into the falls where we got absolutely soaked. It was completely unreal.
